About Loka: The Future of Independent Education
Loka is revolutionizing online education with a flat-fee model ($6/seat instead of up to 33% commission). Our founder has proven success helping thousands of Japanese learners achieve their goals—and now we’re here to help you build a thriving education business.
Participants are required to attend and actively engage in at least 80% of the live workshops, preferably with their cameras on, to remain eligible for the refund policy. On the 12th day of the challenge, a refund button will be made available for participants who meet these criteria. If a refund is not requested within 14 days, the subscription will continue until the end of the month from the purchase date and will automatically convert into a Loka Creator DIY subscription. This subscription can be canceled or upgraded at any time, with changes taking effect at the end of the current monthly period. The challenge begins immediately upon purchase, with the first workshop starting on the same day. If new participants cannot join a current cohort, a countdown timer will appear in place of the subscription purchase button, indicating when enrollment for the next challenge will open. Once you have sent us an email to secure your spot, you will be emailed a payment link to start on the day of the next cohort. If you miss the start of that cohort, you may join the next one.

While originally designed for Japanese learners, Loka is not restricted to this market and can be used to attract students from all over the world using its pricing page link and learner demo link. Furthermore, Loka is not limited to language teaching; its adaptable Living Textbook system can be configured for coaching or teaching any subject. Educators can also use Loka for in-person sessions by sharing screens with learners and integrating third-party tools like Fathom.video or Fireflies.ai to record and transcribe lessons held in classrooms or cafes.
The 14-Day Challenge offers participants a one-time $39 package that includes one educator seat for a month, one test learner seat for a month, four live 90-minute group workshops, and access to the Loka Creator community. Additional educator and learner seats can be purchased as needed for $6/month each. The workshops are designed to help educators configure their teaching platform, understand its essential functions, set pricing, receive bookings from learners, and leverage special Living Textbook features to deliver engaging sessions. Participants will also learn how to craft their unique value proposition using the StoryBrand framework, which can be applied to their landing pages as well as other marketing and sales channels to attract high-value learners effectively.
